Despite the continuous rain racing continued at Amman Valley

In race one Frisco Mick broke his maiden tag in the hands of Daniel Millard. After a troublesome first corner the horse got back on his feet and won by a length ahead of Rhyds E Type, with Habberley Haste a further half a length behind. In race 2 Blackfield Billie broke when leaving the gate interfering with the second line with Serendipity taking the main brunt of this. However this did not hold her back for long as she moved her way back to the head of the field to take the spoils by 4 lengths from Duggans Panache and Billy Bong. In race 3 Andrew Cairns secured his first win of the day on Black n Gold. Coming off the final bend they were forced to go three wide to take the lead, Just Floyd held on to the back of him but was unable to pass the winner. Ayr Romance was third. In race 4 Ginger Man continued his good spell winning by 4 lengths in the hands of Gareth Price. Trysor Ffion stayed on for second ahead of Kiplyn. In race 5 Wellfield Lucy took the lead early, Camden Casanova challenged from the half but it was Ayr Warrior that made the race winning move at the three quarter giving Andrew Cairns his second win of the day. In race 6 Talavary Activator left the gate smartly to build up a strong lead. On the last bend it looked like the rest of the field would catch him but he kicked on again to win by one and a half lengths ahead of Brywins That’s Life and American Gigalo. Only four horses lined up in the last race with Ayr Miles a non-runner. Rhyds Destiny led out from four on the gate to take the lead. Another Toto tried to challenge at the half closely followed by Home Habana. Coming off the final bend Rhyds Destiny kicked for home and went away from them leaving Home Habana in second and Another Toto in third.
